Credit where credits due!! I cant recommend this hotel enough. Best hotel in jesmond by far on quality of rooms, service and location. Stayed here with a group of girls on a hen party at the beginning of may. From booking it to checking out the hotel and staff and hotel were amazing. Got a great deal on 9 rooms by calling direct. We arrived early and the hotel did their best to get us in our rooms as quick as they could. Even the receptionist was making beds!! We were amazed at their hospitality and effort. The rooms were perfect. Modern, clean and comfortable. Excelled our expectations massively. Ideal for a night stop over in jesmond near the bars / restaurants and a very cheap taxi ride to Newcastle city centre (7quid) As you can see from my profile, I love leaving reviews and can be ruthless but there was not one thing I can complain about. Plus free off road car parking Well done to the team and the management for their work. Hotel absolutely spotless and your team from booking to checking in to house keeping were friendly, happy and professional. We will be back
Spend there 1 night with my family in November 2019 - was really nice. Rooms very clean and comfy. Breakfast really nice. The area was also nice and interesting. Jesmond metro station is around 10min away by foot so it’s ideal. The only downside is a small car park at the rear of the hotel. Really small if you have a large car especially a SUV 4x4 but we managed ;-) thanks
Friendly, helpful and most importantly CLEAN place, would recommend to budget travellers! My room was airy, bright, and the wet-room was clean. Very easy to get to by Metro (West Jesmond stop) and near to many bars, restaurants, shops, but not noisy in the slightest. Vegetarian breakfast. Kettle in room, iron, plentiful towels, armchair to relax in, flatscreen tv, electric fan. The extraction in the wet-room with shower was very good and did not leave the room humid at all. Everything was clean and fresh feeling. They even had a helpful list of nearby restaurants, shops etc, and an environmental policy posted on the back of the bathroom door. Comfy clean bed. Honestly can't really fault it in any way. (I left my excess fruit behind and a bag of crisps for the cleaners to say thank you.)
Reached here around 11:38pm to do check in. The guy at the reception is super friendly and helpful, giving a lot information, bring me up to my room and give me all the info I need. Keep it up the good work, really love the service. The bed is just nice, not too hard. Love the TV and this lovely beautiful small room of mine! The guy at the reception is one of the best receptionist I ever met.
The hotel is well located, clean and friendly. My room was in the 4th floor and really quiet, so sleep was easy. It is walking distance to the Metro station, and close to Jesmond centre. The continental breakfast has lots of choice and is of a reasonable quality. If you book direct, they offer discounts. I'll stay here again.
Room and location decent but very bland. I imagine it would be good if travelling for business as it was clean and 'did the job'. However if travelling for leisure and planning to spend time in the room, I'd want a few more pictures/a bit of colour to make it feel more welcoming. The room was quite small too, but this isn't as issue if you're planning to be out and about most of the time.
Perfect location for a weekend away in Newcastle. Quite basic, but we'll kept and the staff were warm and welcoming. Buffet Breakfast was plentiful and pretty good. Let me keep my car parked for the day after we checked out too which was nice. I'd probably look to stay here again if I were looking for a mid range hotel.
Stayed here 1 night in a double room. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean, had a TV, tea and coffee and a bathroom with shower. Location was great, short walk to plenty of bars and restaurants in Jesmond. We had breakfast in the morning, there was a good selection of cereals and hot food (but no meat). Check out was very quick and easy. Only downsides I would say the bed wasn't very comfortable. Overall though, very good value for the price we paid.
